Our re-opening is almost here... February 4th!
Take note, because we're making a few changes.
After careful consideration, we've decided to streamline our hours of operation:
Tues thru Thurs   9am-1:30pm
Friday   6:30am-1:30pm
Saturday   8am-12pm
 Tuesday through Friday we will be open for lunch. And for those of you who like your morning breakfast sandwich, be
sure to join us on Friday and Saturday mornings. Our yummy hot and cold beverages will
be available at all times, as usual, as well as our decadent pastries.
Looking forward to serving you in 2010!

Silent Night Cafe will be closed during the month of January. We'll be taking advantage of the off-season to take care of minor remodeling and repairs, as well as re-vamp for the coming year. We apologize for any incovenience this may cause. Stay tuned for the official re-open date. See you in February!

Autumn has arrived here at the cafe... we are now serving our yummy homemade soups, a couple new sandwiches, and the fall favorites. Check out the menu here on the website or, better yet, stop in and see us!

Saturday, Aug. 29th will the official last day of the season to get our summer salads... in just a few weeks, we will start serving our tasty homemade soups! We will also retire the Mediterranean Chicken Panini, Garden Veggie, and BLT for the fall/winter while bringing back some favorites... Monte Cristo Panini, Homestyle Grilled Cheese, and Italian Grilled Cheese.

  The new theatrical production "Lincoln" is fantastic! I took my family to see it last week, and we had a great time. The pre-show meal and activities are fun and set the right mood for the night.  The show is very professionally done... the effects are dramatic and the music haunting. Not only was the show thoroughly entertaining, but it was very educational... I found myself wanting to know more about  Abraham Lincoln as a boy and as a president. I'm hoping to go back to see it again!
  Be sure to get your tickets to see "LINCOLN" this summer... you don't want to miss it!

Mother's Luncheon

We will be hosting a Mother's Luncheon on Friday, May 8th in celebration of Mother's Day! This is an open house-style event taking place between 10am and 1pm CDT. Here is the luncheon menu:

Chicken Salad on Croissant

Turkey Panini on Honey-wheat
Side Salad
Raspberry Iced Tea
Peach Cobbler
 
Our other menu items will also be available for purchase. The event is open to mothers, daughters, sons, fathers... anyone wishing to honor their mom. A door prize drawing will also be held. Tickets for the meal are $8.95ea., and can be purchased here at the cafe. There is a limited quantity available. Surprise your mom by taking her out for a delicious lunch at the one and only Silent Night Cafe!

 
Flower Farm

Don't forget... tomorrow we will be at 928 Sycamore in Rockport to help Flower Farm kick-off their new greenhouse and to raise funds for the Spencer County Community Foundation. We're serving roast beef and chicken salad sandwiches and will be donating $1 from each sale to SCCF. Flower Farm will be donating 10% of their sales.
  Stop by between 4:30 and 6:30CST at the Flower Farm to be a part of the fun. And if you want to be sure to get one of our meals, just RSVP to Silent Night Cafe @ 937-9066.

Salads have finally arrived! This year we are offering a little wider variety of flavors to suit your preferences. Stop in and check out our new menu... we have some other new items as well. We are also working to create a download-able menu that you can download and print right from our website.
